Vol.55 Graphic Behind the Art Scene issue
In examining “How they created Visual Identities of Art Scene”, we put an attention to museums, galleries, and art fairs around the world. Focusing on the Visual Identity such as posters, invitations, and graphic designs revolved around the art scene- from designers responsible for creating the VI and commissioner from the art museums’ side will give a full interview.
We will open our issue with an interview from one and only founder of Deitch Gallery, Jeffery Deitch, whom now appointed as a new director of L.A. MOCA. He led the art scene frontline with the gallery, Deitch Gallery in NY since the mid-90s until it made its closure in 2010. Moreover, a brand consultant firm Wolff Olins responsible for numerous corporate identities and visual identity for the London Olympic has also contributed with an extensive interview by chairman, Brian Boylan and creative director, Jordan Crane. Other museums and galleries around the world including from US, UK, France, Stockholm, and Argentina will make an appearance. Various designers will each provide with their nonetheless symbolic content, guidelines and role of the VI. Works only seen here are mastered into this one exclusive issue.
